Kelly Schultz

Kelly Schultz is the Radio Announcer for the Bemidji State women's hockey team. She lives in Bemidji, MN with her husband Brian.
Kelly Schultz has been working in radio full-time since 1999.

Kelly and her husband Brian have lived in Bemidji, Minnesota for six years with their Cocker Spaniel "Bucky."

2010 marks her fourth season as the Radio Play-by-play announcer for Bemidji State University women's hockey. Kelly just wrapped up her second season of broadcasting Kelliher/Northome football and Bemidji High School soccer.

In 2009-10, Kelly was the radio play-by-play for Cass Lake-Bena High School boys basketball and baseball. Her first Panther hoops broadcast was at the 2009 Minnesota State High School Boys Basketball Tournament.

Kelly got her start on the sidelines in 2002 when she married her husband Brian and moved to Brainerd, Minnesota. She was the radio sideline reporter for the Brainerd High School football radio broadcasts during the 2002 and 2003 seasons. When Kelly and Brian moved to Bemidji in 2004, she took the sidelines for Bemidji State University football during Brian's radio broadcasts for R.P. Broadcasting.

She has also worked part-time for Lakeland Public Television since 2004. She started out in Master Control and eventually worked her way into the fill-in sports anchor position.

Besides working in sports broadcasting, Kelly owns Kick Ass Fashions (www.kickassfashions.com) where she sells hats she designs and creates. She has been known to whip up one-of-a-kind costumes and hats for friends and family. Someday she hopes to branch out with her fashion designs to a larger market and attend New York Fashion Week.

Kelly's hobbies include biking, walking her dog, reading, blogging, Facebook, Twitter, stargazing through her Meade telescope, collecting sports memorabilia, watching sports and movies with her husband.

Kelly is married to Brian.
Kelly and Brian have been married for 9 years. They don't have any kids (yet), but do have a Cocker Spaniel named Bucky.
